Greybrook Academy has been in operation. Curriculum, special features, and activities

Before and After School Care
Greybrook offers before school care from 7:30 am for all students, and after school care until 5:00 pm for Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten students (Students in Grade 1 or above can take part in our optional after school activities until 5:00 pm). The before and after school activities is fully staffed by our caring and qualified Early Childhood Educators, and includes lots of engaging, creative play, arts and crafts, and stories.
Field Trips
Greybrook owns three buses of various sizes, and employs a full-time driver. This means that we are able to take our students on a vast array of field trips, from Science World and the Vancouver Symphony, to salmon hatcheries, power plants, glass-blowing studios, and more, ensuring that our students experience the practical and tangible sides of the topic studies in class. We also use our buses for ski trips, skating trips, camping trips, and the like, which develop the social and community aspects of our school.
International Travel
In keeping with Greybrook's emphasis on developing globally-minded citizens, we offer regular opportunities for international travel. These trips involve a strong educational component and a community service component, as well as plenty of environment and cultural exploration.
Outdoor Education
Much of Greybrook's final term is focused on outdoor and environmental themes, to take advantage of the summer weather. Our students delve into nature-based inquiries both inside and out, and are offered the opportunity to take part in overnight camping trips, trips to water-slides and spray parks, and the occasional class or choir practice on the lawn of our inner courtyard.
Bus
Greybrook runs a school bus route through Port Moody, Coquitlam, and Port Coquitlam. The bus runs morning and afternoon, and can be used on a regular or occasional basis.
